It achieves nothing of value for the country, at a big cost, and encourages the current account to blow out. What idiot thought it up and keeps supporting it? 2 Makes perfect sense in my personal situation, if Kevin doesnt shut it down I might have to do it. I would prefer a tax cut instead and drive a 3-6 year old car. 3 Greg - you guys have got a massive problem with your resale, but you probably know this already. The only way it makes sence to buy your cars is second hand.

The hassle is that every six months-nine months you are selling a car privately (at least, with our scheme, they are for three years leases but the cheapest thing to do is break the lease very quickly). 3 Oh I know that. Can't you novate a secondhand car on your scheme?

Most big companies here do it. And they do it through third party companies with salesmen.

Nowadays more often seen outside shops with a little PA system. A remarkably unsuccesful ploy in my opinion.

At least 3/4 of those guys would take their package in the form of cash, super, share options and a novated lease on a nice landcruiser or land rover or something. So you have probably funded your share of subsidised imported cars for australian business men. ha ha ha..... *** I am very sceptical of most juniors, most are schemes dreamed up by crooks to pay their salary for a few years and hopefully, just maybee, alow them to cahs in on the options deal....
